Dear Keith,

Thanks for your message...

The JGR paper printed out fine. The comparisons do seem to be coming along
well. Scott and Tim are ironing out a few more analyses, but I think things
look very encouraging right now. At some point, we'll want to write this
all up, and then I'm hoping to get you and others more directly in the
loop. A number of interesting results should fall out of this, including a
better understanding of the sensitivity to the data, methodology, and a
better understanding of the late 19th century as well as the behavior of
proxies in the latter 20th century...

Very glad to hear you can make the workshop. We should be sending along
more details very soon, as we get confirmation from attendees and can start
to draft a program. Will be in touch again soon on that,

cheers,

mike
