Ray and Peck
Gu was a 'must have' ice core participant that Dominique came up with. I have not heard of him and I suspect this is the political aspect Ray referred to when looking at the first list.
I suspect getting money for him may be a problem anyway.
P.s. This saturday I was catapulted off a scaffolding when working on my barn roof. Sloppy safety arrangements. I landed on my back on a load of flints but managed to miss a wall that was only inches from my head. A truly frightening experience - but an uplifting one because I have nothing more serious that a bruised back and ribs. Life is good.
