Dear COOP members,
Firstly, congratulations to all of us for our success in being awarded the Co-op, and commiserations to those who did not get grants funded.
So far the only information Tony has had has been an email from Angela Cooper at MRC, briefly discussing the MRC grants. Only Tony's on heatwaves in developing countries was funded. Astrid's was rejected. Graham was asked to be resubmitted. Andy's will be considered at a later board. The Coop group grant was itself funded but only for 2 years.
Has there been any news from NERC?
Tony has asked me to arrange a meeting early next year to discuss the coop and related strategies, the best dates are:
21st Jan -
4th Feb -
please let me know you availability as soon as possible.
Meetings would start mid-morning or lunch time to allow time for our friends from Norwich.
Also, if I have left anyone out of this mailing list who you think should be invited, please let me know.
Also, if you are thinking of putting in a grant before this meeting and want to consider it as part of the coop, please let me or Tony know, thanks.
best wishes to all
